This weekend will be a true immersion in the heart of the Cotentin, with horseback rides through the dunes, authentic encounters, and gourmet discoveries for those who want to explore nature in a different way.

Day 1

Upon your arrival in the Cotentin, let yourself be swept away by an outdoor experience! The Lypca Riding Club will welcome you for a horseback ride through the dunes. At the rhythm of the hooves, you will follow the coastline, offering views of the sea and the vast natural landscapes of the Cotentin. A simple and authentic moment!

After this morning, enjoy a free lunch at your own expense to savor a Norman meal at a restaurant of your choice.

Then, for the afternoon, set off on a self-guided hike to discover Cap de Carteret. Between cliffs, ocean views, and nature-lined trails, you’ll have plenty of time to explore this preserved area at your own pace and enjoy the beauty of the coastline. Next, enjoy a gourmet stop at the Maison du Biscuit, a true place to discover artisanal biscuit making, where you can savor local delights and learn about Norman craftsmanship.

Dinner is on your own and at your expense—take your time to explore local specialties at a restaurant of your choice. For the night, you will stay in a guesthouse, a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the authentic and peaceful setting of Normandy.

Day 2

After a well-deserved night’s rest, set off to explore the trails of the Cotentin on a hiking trip with a pack donkey. Adeline, your guide, accompanied by her donkey Loustic, will share her local knowledge while allowing you to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the region. A picnic can be included upon request. To close this weekend, head to the Plantation Petite Rivière for an immersive visit, still accompanied by Loustic! Discover the secrets of Normandy pepper cultivation. You’ll have the opportunity to tour the plantation, taste different peppers and local products, all while enjoying a peaceful natural setting.
